Hello and welcome to my web-site,
                  The Spoon Guy. Com
Unfortunately, Bill passed away in 2008. His beautiful jewelry was inspiring to many people and he taught me , Linda, his wife, how to make it.   Please contact me at linda@thespoonguy.com if you are interested. . . . . . I want to keep his dream alive.
My name is Bill Stevens and I am, "The Spoon Guy". I live and work out of my home in Parkville, Mo. I got that name from a little shop that was just full of antique flatware. It was my third or fourth trip back to the store. I walked in and the manager looked and said to one of her employees, " It's the spoon guy". It just seem to fit.
I do love the hunt for new treasure. I can spend hours in one store looking for my next pattern to enjoy. It's always such a charge to find a new pattern I have never seen or only seen in photo's. I am always a little sad to find the pattern, only to see it marked Pattern Unknown. Was it forgotten? Was it the first peice made by the company or was it the last? It does drive me a little crazy at times. Maybe it should be the crazy spoon guy. It can be months later that I find the answers and sometimes never at all. I guess some could have been special orders and never given a name. See what I mean about crazy.
I try not to repeat any of my Jewelry so when you look at some of the things I have made please remember I may be able to get close but it will never be exactly the same. I do custom work upon request. I get a great deal of enjoyment taking someones mother's flatware and making memories for the entire family to enjoy for years to come. I hope you find something you like and I hope it brings you or your someone special as much happiness as it brought me in making it.
